Inside the visitor center ``Céu Azul`` the Pataxó community of Pé de Monte constructed a pharmacy of natural medicine and health care products. They were able to do so thanks to the Accenture and Terra Nossa Foundation, with the kind help of a number of volunteers and stichting Greenwish. The Pataxó Pharmacy is a program that is part of larger project called Terra Inc. At the moment the pharmacy is offering more than 25 types of medicinal barks, roots, and herbs coming from the Atlantic Rainforest. 2 working groups have been set up, which collect all necessary ingredients from the Atlantic Rainforest and which are working on the development of a health care product line.
