There are many causes of male urinary problems -- one of which can be your prostate. Here are some ways to tell. And, if it is your prostate, what to do about it.
Check this out:
First off, realize that if you have any problems urinating, you should get checked out by a doctor and avoid the usual self diagnosis most of us guys do. And if it is your prostate, then some of the symptoms you might experience include having trouble getting your stream started, a burning feeling when you pee, a frequent urge to urinate, excessive "dribbling" afterwards and maybe even painful urination.
Plus, you may have sexual problems, too, if it's your prostate.
Like, for example, soft erections.
Low sex drive.
And maybe even painful ejaculation.
All of these could mean your male urinary problems are caused by either an enlarged prostate, prostatitis (i.e. a prostate infection) or maybe even prostate cancer.
So this is why you don't want to mess around, and get checked out.
If it is a prostate problem that is not cancer, there are some things you can do.
Probably the most important of which is start drinking more water.
A good goal is half your body weight in ounces of water each day (so if you weigh 200 pounds, you'd drink 100 ounces of water).
This alone can clear a lot of urinary problems up.
Especially since it cleans out your urinary tract, bladder and other body parts of infections, debris and other "invaders."
Plus, your body needs water to function properly.
Anyway, the bottom line is, if you are suffering from male urinary problems, it may be your prostate.
