Botanic Choice Ultra Kidney Complex Capsules, 60-Count Bottle

Botanic Choice Ultra Kidney Complex Capsules, 60-Count BottleAbout 80 percent of your body is liquid. Most of this fluid must be pumped and filtered through your kidneys. An intricate web of tubules, loops, and capsules, your kidneys are the most complex organs in your body. Think for a moment about all the foods you consume, liquids you drink, and even the chemicals you breathe every day. Many of the toxins in your system are eventually filtered through your hard-working, often abused kidneys.

A Naturally Complex Process...

About the size of your fist, your two kidneys are located in the middle of your back. Every day these sophisticated organs process about 200 quarts of blood and sift out about two quarts of waste every single day. This waste comes from normal processing of foods and liquids. After your body takes what it needs, it sends the waste to the blood where your kidneys filter it.

Tiny units called nephrons do the actual filtering. Amazingly, each kidney has about one million nephrons to support this intricate process.

...Requires a Complex Formula, Naturally

This complexity requires natural, high-quality support - the kind you find in Ultra Kidney Complex. This powerful breakthrough is uniquely formulated to help your nephrons, your kidneys and your urinary tract filter and discharge wastes, properly and naturally...because the last thing you want are more unnecessary, unnatural chemicals in your system.

OVERCOMING BLADDER DISEASE: A Strategic Plan for Research

OVERCOMING BLADDER DISEASE: A Strategic Plan for ResearchDiseases and conditions affecting the bladder and associated structures of the lower urinary tract are a leading cause of urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and
kidney failure, and they often contribute to poor quality of life. It has been estimated that 35 million Americans suffer from bladder disease and most have chronic conditions. Bladder problems have been reported to cost Americans more than $16 billion per year in health related expenses, and this estimate does not take into account the associated physical and emotional disabilities that are considered "unmentionable" by many men, women, and children.

This report outlines future critical research on the basic science of the lower urinary tract and clinical studies of bladder diseases and conditions. It also
makes specific recommendations for focused inclusion of biotechnologies that offer opportunities for bladder research. In addition, the report describes the kinds of programs that will provide a pipeline of new researchers through training, new collaborations, and infrastructure to support this work. The potential consequences of rapid progress in bladder research could save many children, women, and men from the physical and emotional consequences of bladder diseases and conditions.

Progressive Laboratories U-TractTM D-Mannose -- 50 g

Progressive Laboratories U-TractTM D-Mannose -- 50 gOver 90% of all urinary tract infections are caused by Escherichia coli (E. coli) which is found as part of the "normal microflora" in every intestinal tract. In most cases bacteria enter the urinary tract through the urethral opening. Many bacteria are simply washed away by the down-flow of urine. E. coli, however, are covered with tiny 'finger-like' projections. At the top of these projections are amino acid/sugar complexes called "lectins" which allow the bacteria to stick to the inside walls of the urinary tract and even work their way upward. D-Mannose, a naturally occurring simple sugar, sticks to the E. coli lectins even better than the lectins stick to human cells. When a large quantity of this sugar is present in the urine, it literally coats any E. coli present. They can no longer stick to urinary tract walls and are washed away with normal urination. Only very small amounts of D-mannose are metabolized by the body. Most is excreted through the kidneys into the urine and bladder, so it doesn't interfere with blood/sugar regulation, even in diabetics. Also, since it is absorbed in the upper gastro-intestinal tract, it does not relocate "friendly" E. coli or other beneficial bacteria normally present in the colon.

Reducing Disparities. Improving Care: A Summary Report

Reducing Disparities. Improving Care: A Summary ReportChronic kidney disease (CKD) is a serious and growing public health problem in the United States. CKD is a condition in which the kidneys become damaged, decreasing their ability to filter the blood and remove water and waste products. Wastes then build up in the blood, harming the body. When kidney function decreases to less than 15 percent, a patient has kidney failure. Kidney failure that requires dialysis or kidney transplant is often referred to as end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

This book provides brief overviews of NKDEP's accomplishments and current
activities as they relate to various components of the Chronic Care Model.

Detecting Illness in Dogs - Urinary Problem Signs and Symptoms

In dogs, urinary tract infections are bacterial or fungal infections in the bladder or other areas of the urinary tract. Dogs with diabetes, Cushing's disease, and chronic renal failure will be at higher risk for urinary tract infections. It's important to understand the difference between canine urinary incontinence and a dog urinary tract infection.

#1 Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms:

* straining to urinate

* blood in the urine

* foul smelling urine

* pain while urinating

Treatment:

* homeopathic treatments

* dietary changes

* antibiotics

* surgery (in extreme, recurring cases)

#2 Urinary Incontinence

In dogs, urinary incontinence is the word used for uncontrollable leaking of urine from the bladder. The dog may expel small quantities of urine while the resting or sleeping. It is more common in older female dogs and in neutered and spayed dogs than in intact ones. This condition is rarely seen in male pooches younger than ten years of age.

Symptoms:

* Damp area where the dog has been resting;

* Wet rear legs or tail.

* Visible evidence of leaking urine

Treatment:

* Homeopathic treatments

* Dietary changes

* Hormone therapy (most helpful in female dogs urinary incontinence)

* Surgery (as a last resort)

In dogs, urinary incontinence is often caused by hormonal deficiencies, so hormones or hormone substitutes may be prescribed. Certain homeopathic treatments may help this condition as well.

#3 Chronic Renal Failure

Chronic renal failure, also known as renal disease, is one of several disorders of the urinary system. Chronic renal failure is the gradual decline of kidney function. It typically, but not exclusively, occurs in older dogs.

Symptoms:

* Lack of energy

* Refusing food

* Vomiting

* Fever

* Abdominal pain

* Recurring symptoms of a bladder infection

Treatment:

* Fluid therapy

* Diet change to a high quality protein diet, which may decrease the stress on the kidneys

* Electrolytes

* Vitamins

* Fatty acids.

Dogs with renal failure can often see improvement with dietary changes and homeopathic support. Simply increasing the fluids in your dog's diet can help as well.

In dogs, urinary problems can be caused by a variety of underlying conditions and it is critical that you take your dog to the vet if you suspect he is having a problem. Your vet can diagnose and treat your dog's condition. The faster your dog begins treatment-whether it is a homeopathic remedy, a simple diet change, or a course of medication-the sooner he will begin to feel better. Add a little exercise and some special attention and you'll and your good dog will have more years together even with a canine renal problem.

Your veterinarian may recommend a regime of prescription dog food and vitamins. More and more dog owners are using natural remedies to boost their dog's immune system and help sooth the debilitating symptoms in dog urinary illnesses. Find these products and http://Dog-Bladder-Problems.com.

Discover Cures For Dog Urinary Tract Infections

Dog urinary tract infections certainly bring an end to all the tail-wagging fun of owning a dog. However, don't assume that just because a dog has symptoms indicative of dog urinary tract infections, that all hope is lost. Most dogs can recover from dog urinary tract infections with a veterinarian's care and a change in diet. First consider why urinary tract infections in dogs happen. Scientifically speaking, UTI in dogs occurs when bacteria starts to overpower the dog's immune system, creating a bacterial infection in the urinary tract. How does bacteria get inside the dog's body in the first place? Usually from the pet's food and water sources. Once the bacteria infiltrates the system is goes through the lymphatic system and the blood. If these bacteria are not eliminated then it will start to spread to other parts of the dog's urinary tract. All of the organs inside the dog's body are related, so if your dog has dog urinary problems eventually the infection will spread to the kidneys, bladder, ureters, urethra, and prostate gland. The more the infection spreads the more at risk the animal becomes. Therefore, once you notice symptoms of dog urinary tract infections it's important to seek treatment as soon as possible.

Understand that dog urinary problems are not exactly rare; after all, nearly 15% of the entire dog population in the world suffers from UTI at some point. Dog urinary problems are serious, if not necessarily fatal, so you should seek treatment from a veterinarian as soon as you notice the symptoms. What are some common symptoms of dog urinary tract infections to look for? Since this is a disease that affects the urinary tract, you should start by looking for any evidence of urinary difficulty in the dog. If you notice a dog licking its genitals, this could be an indication of inflammation of the urethra. The dog thinks that by licking its genitals it can help ease the painful itching. Lastly, if you notice any bleeding during urinating (or perhaps a reddish color), or if you notice the urine has an unusually foul odor, this is a strong indication of UTI.

Once you take the dog in for diagnosis the veterinarian will give you instructions on how to go about giving treatment. The first objective will be to eliminate the infection and then proceed on with the prevention of future dog urinary problems. The first step in controlling infection and inflammation will probably involve administering antibiotics. This antibiotic will destroy the bacterial inside the urine. However, before this powerful medication can be prescribed the doctor must know how sensitive a pet is to certain medications.

The Option of Herbal Supplements

Remember that you don't have to take the prescription medication if you or the doctor think that it may affect the dog adversely. You can find homeopathic products online, which are safer than prescription strength medications. These herbal treatments are naturally based and may help your animal to recover from UTI without undergoing a serious risk. In the meantime, be sure to give your dog plenty of water, as the more water that is contained in the system, the more functional the dog's urinary system will be. In contrast to cats, dogs actually drink lots of water and this can definitely help in the animal's recovery. You might also have to start buying prescription or dietary dog food from a vet's office (or online retailer) rather than continue to buy cheap dog food from the grocery store.

4 Simple Steps to Treating & Preventing Pet Urinary Problems

Let's face it. Pet urinary problems are a challenge on three fronts. First, no pet owner wants their precious dog or cat to suffer from recurring problems that can worsen and lead to serious medical issues. Second, it's no fun cleaning up after the messes that occur when your pet has urinary issues. And third, the vet bills for these issues can quickly drain your bank account. In this article, you'll learn 4 simple steps for treating and preventing common pet bladder problems.

You may be surprised to learn that urinary tract infections (UTI) are the most common infection in pets and that they are completely preventable by following some simple steps. Also, urinary pet problems like UTI can be treated without antibiotics (which can actually make the problem worse) and in many cases, help you avoid a visit to the vet.

Before we talk about treatment and prevention, you should know that pet urinary problems can be divided into two types: upper and lower. If your pet has an issue in the lower bladder, you will notice a change in urination habits: your pet will either urinate more or less frequently than normal. Another telling symptom is unquenchable thirst, which is a big sign of dehydration.

If your animal has urinary pet problems in the upper part of the bladder, the symptoms are more obvious: no interest in food, vomiting and sudden weight loss.

Pain during urination is another sign of pet urinary problems and can either signal the start of a urinary tract infection or its progression to a more serious medical issue.

Since pet urinary problems can be serious and even life threatening, prevention is crucial. Preventing a urinary tract infection-the most common issue in pets-is just as important as brushing teeth is to preventing dental caries in humans.

Urinary Pet Problems: 4 Simple Steps for Prevention

Make sure your pet has access to clean water at all times. If your pet divides his time indoors and out, he should have a water bowl in both places.

Make sure your dog can urinate as needed. Holding urine is a big cause of urinary tract infections and other pet urinary problems.

Feed your dog healthy food. Check labels and avoid food that is full of fillers, chemicals and preservatives. Like humans, dogs do best on natural, rather than processed food. Natural food builds immunity to infection and disease.

Give your dog a natural remedy that supports bladder health. These remedies are gentle enough to use daily for prevention to keep the bladder infection-free, yet are effective enough to stop a urinary tract infection in its tracks. If you can't always be there to can't always be there to check your dog's water bowl or take him for a walk as needed, natural remedies can help. Of course, they are not a substitute for doing the first three steps.

Following the steps above will help your pet avoid the pet urinary problems that are all too common and that increase in frequency as your dog begins to age. Since you're probably familiar with the importance of following the first three steps, let's talk more about the importance of the fourth step.

Giving your pet a natural remedy to treat and prevent urinary pet problems is a key part of this program, so there are a few things you should know. Number one: natural remedies are more effective than antibiotics at treating urinary tract infections because even though they work just as well, they have no side effects. The side effects of antibiotics can actually worsen the infection and cause it to become a recurring problem.

Second: all natural remedies are not the same, especially when it comes to their effectiveness at treating pet urinary problems. Look for a natural remedy that is backed up by a no-questions asked return policy and that contains proven ingredients like uva ursi, berberis, cantharis and staphysagris. A tonic that contains these three ingredients in the right amounts is the best way to treat and prevent pet urinary problems.

5 Myths About Dog Urinary Problems

Whether it's to urinate or defecate, dogs are always going outside to eliminate. When it comes to your dog difficulty urinating or difficulty with elimination can be a stressful experience. It's important to understand the difference between dog behavior problems and illness when trying to determine if your dog has urinary problems. It's necessary to separate facts from myths. Here are 5 myths about dog urinary problems that you should know about.

1. A dog urinating problem is always caused by a bacterial infection. Bacterial infections are certainly not the only cause of urinary problems in dogs. There are many types of diseases such as diabetes and Cushing's disease that can cause urinary problems in dogs, making it all the more important that you take your dog to the vet to get tests and exams done.

Bladder or kidney stones can also be the underlying problem. Sometimes old age or behavior issues may be the cause but either way it's important get a proper diagnosis so your dog doesn't grow ill and suffer irreversible damage.

2. If you have a male dog difficulty urinating will never be a problem for him. Many people think that urinary tract infections and other urinary problems only affect female dogs but that is not true. Sure, it's more common in female dogs but male dogs get them also. Keep your dog healthy and clean. Bathe him every day so bacteria don't have a chance to flourish and travel up the urinary tract.

3. Behavioral issues cannot cause a dog urinating problem. If your dog has difficulty urinating, behavioral issues are unlikely to be the cause. However, if your dog is urinating excessively or urinating in inappropriate places, behavioral problems may be the culprit. Some behavioral problems that cause unusual urination patterns include territorial marking and submissive urination.

Dog training is necessary to alleviate this type of behavior. Sometimes a dog that is not neutered may exhibit this type of behavior so the easiest solution is to get him neutered. In other cases, your dog may behave this way simply due to the fact that he is not properly housebroken.

4. It's best to give your dog dry food when he shows the symptoms of a urinary problem. When it comes to your dog difficulty urinating signals a need for a major diet change. Commercial dry food is the worst possible choice because it is rich in carbohydrates and alters the pH level of your dog's urine. Feed your dog only raw, unprocessed food and home cooked food and make it a habit if you want to prevent urinary problems in the future.

A bad diet can lead to liver disease and make it more difficult for your dog to defecate in addition to aggravating the symptoms of urinary problems. You also need to make sure to give your dog plenty of fresh, filtered water to drink. Often a dog's bad eating habits and insufficient intake of water are the primary causes of difficulty urinating.

5. The only effective treatment for a dog urinating problem is antibiotics. Your veterinarian may prescribe antibiotics for your dog's urination problem but proceed with caution. Dogs have difficult metabolizing medication so it is prescribed in high doses and for long periods. Most of the medication comes out in their pee.

If you want your dog to stay healthy and achieve permanent recovery, avoid drugs because they have dangerous side effects. Give your dog a homeopathic treatment instead. No matter what breed your dog is, homeopathic remedies can alleviate the symptoms of all urinary problems and help him recover by maintaining healthy bladder functioning and urine flow.

In conclusion, rather than opting for aggressive treatment with conventional medication, why not give natural treatment a shot? You should consider drugs a last resort for your dog because of their potential risk of side effects. Now that you understand what common myths there are out there about urinary problems for dogs, get real and follow an effective, natural treatment plan.

When it comes to your dog difficulty urinating will no longer be a problem if you take action by providing him with proper nutrition, sufficient water, and a homeopathic remedy.

5 Surefire Signs of a Feline Urinary Problem

Ever wondered how to spot feline urinary problems before you have to go rushing your near-death cat off to the pet hospital?  It's really handy to know what the signs of feline UTI are in order to spot it early and treat it at home quickly and gently.  Cats are pretty tolerant to pain so it might be difficult to tell when your cat is sick.  Here are 5 subtle signs to look out for so you can treat the problem early without having to go to the vet.

   1. Feline urinary tract infections can first be spotted by paying attention to how frequently your cat urinates.  If your cat is urinating more or less frequently than normal, it is a possible sign of a urinary tract infection.  For this reason, it's important to know what your cat's normal behavior is like in order to be able to spot the difference.

   2. If you notice your cat urinating in places other than his litter box, it could be a sign of feline urinary problems.  When cats have UTI, it can be painful and they associate the pain with the litter box hence avoid it at all costs.  Cats with UTI are known to urinate in unusual places like the sink or bathtub.

   3. If your cat is acting lethargic, it could possibly be a sign of urinary problems.  Feline urinary tract infections cause cats to act lazy and sleep more often.

   4. When cats constantly groom their genital area, it could be a sign of feline urinary problems.  This is especially a possibility if the cat is crying while licking, signifying that he may be in pain.

   5. Feline urinary tract infections may cause urinary incontinence.  If you notice your cat dribbling urine, your cat most likely has an infection or other urinary problem.

Make no mistake about it.  If you notice any of these signs in your cat, it is highly likely that feline urinary problems are the cause.  You could take your cat to a veterinarian for conventional treatment but it's not necessary.  Not only do the drugs vets prescribe have dangerous side effects, they are not necessary for the treatment of mild infections.  Instead, if you notice these symptoms, give your cat a homeopathic remedy at home in order to get rid of the infection gently without any risk of side effects.  Homeopathic remedies are effective, safe, and far less expensive than conventional treatments.

1. The first sign of dog urinary problems is a change in normal urinating patterns. For that reason, it's important to know what your dog's normal behavior is. If you notice that your dog is urinating more or less frequently, this could be a sign of urinary tract infection.

2. If your dog stops urinating at all, consider this a red flag. A tumor or blockage due to bladder stones can lead to a cease in urination. This is a very serious symptom that needs to be addressed immediately by a veterinarian.

3. If your dog appears to be in pain while urinating, this is a surefire sign of bladder infection. Dog urinary tract infections can be very bothersome so if you notice your dog cringing in pain while urinating, get help.

4. If there is blood in your dog's urine, you can suspect dog urinary problems. In order to detect whether there are traces of blood in your dog's urine, let your dog urinate on a light colored surface.

5. One of the symptoms of dog urinary tract infections is dehydration. If your dog is acting a lot thirstier than normal, UTI may be the cause. For instance, if it is the middle of the winter and your dog is drinking an unusually large amount of water in spite of not exercising, you can suspect UTI.

6. If you notice your dog constantly licking his genitals, this can also be a possible sign of dog urinary problems. If your dog is crying and sounds like he is in pain while he is licking, an infection is likely to be the cause.

7. If your dog's abdomen is tender and he seems to have very little energy, you can suspect urinary tract infection. Fever may also be present. These symptoms signify that the infection is in its later stages so take your dog to the veterinarian as soon as possible to make a correct diagnosis and start treatment.

Now that you know this information, keep it in mind in order to be able to spot the possible signs of urinary tract infection in your dog. Dog urinary tract infections can be silent killers if you aren't observant and don't take note of any changes in your dog's habits or behavior. If you spot any of the early symptoms of urinary problems, try treating them at home through diet, healthy lifestyle, and homeopathic treatment. By doing so, you can stop the infection from progressing and keep it from recurring. Drugs are a good option when a UTI infection is in its late stages but the risk of side effects should be reason alone to consider them a last resort.

Are You Suffering From a Yeast Infection's Painful Urination Symptom? Find Out the Solution

If you suffer from the yeast infection and a painful urination problem, you need to take the medical assistance from the doctor or the healthcare provider. You should opt for the clinical test for the early detection of the yeast contagion in the vagina. Candida albicans bacteria are responsible for the yeast infection. Due to the unnatural growth of these bacteria in the vagina causes vaginal infection. Therefore the proper medication is needed for the termination of Candida albicans. You can consume the medications in the shapes of pills and vaginal cream.

There are many symptoms which can determine the cause of the yeast infection in the vaginal region. The commonest sign of the ramification of this disease is the itchiness in vagina. Patients will continuously itch around the vagina. At the same time, female patient will certainly feel burning sensation in the vaginal area. In addition the vulva will be reddened and bulged. At the time of urination, she will feel pain.

As there is similarity between the yeast contagion and urinary track infection, you need to observe carefully whether the feeling of burning sensation during urination is due to the onset of the yeast infection in the vaginal zone or due to the severity of ordinary urinary tract infection.

In the case of the urinary tract infection, vaginal burning will be palpable when urine will run through the tube whereas in the case of yeast contagion, the burning will happen as the urine laden with acid passes through the reddened skin of vulva. The patient will experience the burning sensation, when the urine runs outside. If you have the caustic experience of yeast infection painful urination, you need the proper medical assistance.

There are natural remedies for contagious painful urination. Tea tree oil is very much conducive to the removal of yeast infection. Use the medicated dosage of one teaspoon of tea tree oil plus one teaspoonful isopropyl alcohol. Prepare the mixture for the usage to remove the yeast infection. Now with the dropper, you should fall at least 10 droplets of this solution in the bucket of water for cleaning the vagina.

However, if you are pregnant, don't use this medicated solution for the cleansing of the vagina. Yogurt is very effective to cure the yeast infection and therefore consume yogurt or apply it to the vagina with tampon. Honey is a wonderful natural product which will work excellently in the case of the removal of the vaginal yeast infection.

Take some amount of honey and rub it on the affected portion of the vagina and then wash it with warm water. You can use honey during bathing. When you suffer from the yeast infection and experience painful urination, you should not wear the leotards or pantyhose regularly.

Clothes with tight fittings will be detrimental to the body and therefore always try to wear attire or apparels which are made of natural cotton fiber. Wet clothes are not good to wear during this period. You must change wet or water drenched clothes every time and you should try to wash infected vagina with fresh water frequently.

Canine Incontinence - Urinary Problems Can Be Easily Solved

Canine incontinence is a urinary system disorder that is used to describe a wide variety of problems. Symptoms of incontinence in dogs can include:

Painful Urination

Urine that Leaks

Urination at Night when Sleeping

Urine that Dribbles

Infrequent Urination

Frequent Urination

The cause of this condition is determined via a physical examination of your dog and an analysis of the urine. To take a urine sample, your veterinarian may need to insert a catheter into your pet to ensure that the sample is clean and free of bacteria. Your veterinarian will also check for crystals which are little bits of minerals that are a byproduct of the digestive process. Too many of these crystals indicates a risk for urinary and bladder stone formation.

If bacteria is found, then your dog will require antibiotics to eradicate the infection. You could also try giving your dog some cranberry juice, which like in humans, helps to keep bacteria from clinging to the bladder walls (cystitis) and colonizing along the urinary tract. It also improves the natural ability of the urine to fight off infection.

In some cases fungal infection is found. These types of infections are usually a byproduct of the antibiotics or other medications taken by your dog. It can also be an indicator of diabetes mellitus. Once the medications stop, the fungus should clear by itself or your veterinarian can provide medications.

To help to quickly clear infection, you might also want to try a natural homeopathic supplement made to help with canine incontinence or infection. These products help to strengthen the urinary system and correct the PH of the urine (properties that fight infection).

If the infection clears and the canine incontinence urinary continues, then your veterinarian will look for a physical cause. In females that have been spayed, this is usually due to a condition called USMI, which is a weakening of the muscles that control the flow of urine. Muscle tone can be improved with medications or you can also try a homeopathic approach. Probably both approaches together can be of help. There are other possible structural/physical causes, but this is the most common.

As dogs age, they can just naturally lose muscle tone and control. You can help the older dog by providing predictable meal times and walk times. For example feed your dog 3x a day and then take your dog for a walk after each meal. This predictable pattern should teach your dog when to urinate and when to control the urine. If you believe the urination is due to stress, such as when you are out of the house, consider keeping your dog in a cage or confined area. Dog's will not urinate where they sleep, so confinement to this area should help as long as you are giving your dog enough opportunities to urinate.

If you can't correct the canine urinary incontinence, dog diapers might be called for. Like a baby, be sure to change the diapers frequently to avoid moist dermatits, a skin condition that can cause your dog some discomfort.

Cat Bladder Disease - Take a Fast Track to Preventing Cat Urinary Problems Symptoms of Feline UTI

Holistic veterinarians concur that there are natural substances that reverse cat bladder disease. There are some great natural remedies that fight off the most common causes of cat urinary problems symptoms of cat UTI that you can get without a veterinary prescription. Here's how to get your cat on a fast track to prevention and recovery from cat urinary problems.

Many synthetic products that are available through a veterinarian's prescription actually cause problems to crop up in other areas of your cat's internal systems. Antibiotics are notorious for destroying the natural flora in your cat's urinary tract which can actually aggravate feline bladder disease. Today's holistic veterinarians are turning away from prescribing antibiotics in favor of natural remedies.

Holistic vets are using the information that they have about feline bladder disease to match natural compounds that prevent the causes of cat bladder disease. They find that many cat patients suffering from a feline UTI have also recently experienced stressful situations.

Stress can be caused by a number of changes in your cat's environment like moving to a new home, adding family members or new partners, adding new pets and even having a stray cat hanging around the neighborhood. Needless to say, these are things that you can't easily 'take out' of your life once they are in it. As long as they remain they continue to stress your cat until he can become accustomed to these changes.

Your cat's pH level in his urinary track gets out of whack when he endures prolonged periods of stress. An inappropriate pH level opens the door for an increase in harmful bacteria in your cat. The bacteria take over and cause an infection.

Arctostaphylos uva ursi is a well known urinary tonic that helps maintain normal pH levels in the urinary tract. Berberis vulgaris is an herb which contains berberine which is well known for its restorative effect on the bladder and urinary tract. Berberis also helps to support a healthy immune system. Scutellaria laterifolia (Scullcap) is one of the best known herbs for soothing the nervous system.

All these tonics are found in commercially produced remedies. The best part is they are really easy to administer to your cat. No pills or shots. Just a pinch added to his food once or twice a day and he's on his way back to a healthy urinary tract system.

A word or caution. Cat bladder disease is nothing to take lightly. In fact, it might even develop into a feline urinary tract blockage. It is critical to get that ruled out by your veterinarian as it can quickly turn into a fatal condition.

What next? You want to find ingredients that complement your cat's naturally occurring flora in his body. Its easy to help him deal with stressful situations with a pinch of nature in his cat food. You can give this to him over a longer period of time which you can not do with antibiotics. This puts your cat in the perfect position to reduce stress naturally and prevent cat bladder disease.

With all of the current research finding natural substances that reverse cat urinary problems symptoms, it is easy to help your cat ward off feline bladder disease even during stress filled times.

Cat Urinary Infection - How to Deal With Cat Urinary Problems

Is your cat having urinary issues? Cats are like humans. They could experience urinary problems, too. Cat urinary problems can be a tough issue to deal with not only because cat urine is stinky and irritating to the nose, but also because of the damage it could cause to your furniture, not to mention the amount of cleaning you have to do to get rid of your cat's residue. This "bad behavior" of the cat, though, should not be dealt with by punishment. Instead, it should be given proper medical attention.

Cats are very sensitive animals and a slight inconvenience could cause them not to use the litter box anymore. Cats may associate the pain or the inconvenience they feel while urinating with the litter box and therefore, start to pee outside it. Although this may be caused by a behavioral problem in some cats, this may also be a sign of cat urinary infection.

Cat urinary infection causes discomfort and extreme pain to cats. If you have experienced urinary tract infection, you may know how painful it is when the symptoms of the disease attack. The inconvenience that UTI causes to humans is the same in cats, so you may understand why cats would begin to have urinary issues when they have this disease.

To resolve the problem, it is important to get down to the bottom of the issue. The first thing to do is to look for symptoms such as a foul smell in the cat's urine, blood in the urine, frequent licking of the genitals, crying or constant meowing in the litter box, and straining to urinate but not producing any urine or producing only a little amount of it. Any of these symptoms may signal cat urinary infection. Worst, in the instance that a cat fails to produce urine, the cat may be suffering from urinary tract blockage, a condition that is highly dangerous for the cat. It is imperative that when you notice any of these signs you immediately call the attention of a veterinarian.

To diagnose the condition of your cat, the veterinarian may have to collect urine samples from your cat. To do this, he may perform a cystocentesis, a procedure where a needle is inserted through the abdomen and into the bladder. When urine samples have been collected, urinalysis may then be performed to determine the cause of the cat's urinary problems. Depending on the result of the urinalysis, the veterinarian may perform the appropriate procedure to alleviate the suffering of the cat. In cases of infection, the vet may prescribe antibiotics to suppress the growth of the infection. In cases where the tests show crystals and blockage in the cat's ureter, the cat may undergo surgery and other medical procedure.

Once the cat has been treated, it may already be brought home and be able to use the litter box again without any problem. However, follow-up check-up should be done to ensure the cat is recuperating well from the disease. The owner may also prevent the recurrence of the disorder by giving the cat homeopathic remedy.

Indeed, cat urinary infection could cause so much head-ache to a cat owner. But it can be prevented by being wary of the symptoms and taking immediate action when such symptoms appear.

Home Treatment For Urinary Issues in Cats - How to Treat and Prevent Urinary Problems Naturally

Are you a cat owner who is looking for an effective home treatment for urinary issues in cat? If so, make sure you read this article fully. By the time you finish reading it, you will have a clear idea of what you need to do to treat and prevent feline urinary issues.

Why home treatment?

Home treatment for urinary issues in cat becomes necessary because of two reasons.

1. Vets usually prescribe antibiotic drugs to treat urinary tract infections and bladder stones. While the efficacy of these drugs cannot be questioned, the possibility of side effects cannot be ruled out.

2. Antibiotic drugs usually do not address the cause of a urinary problem. They just address immediate problems such as infection and symptoms, and give your cat's body enough time to heal itself. Since the cause remains uncorrected, there is always a possibility of recurrent infections.

This is why a lot of people these days are turning to home treatment for urinary issues in cat. Now, let me tell you how you can treat and prevent feline urinary problems.

No matter what anyone tells you, home remedies ARE NOT a substitute for a specific therapeutic prescribed by a veterinarian based on a confirmed diagnosis. These medications, such as antibiotics are tested and approved by the FDA for their specific use.

Natural remedies are what is know as a supportive therapy. There is a long history of using herbal and other natural products to support the body's natural defenses. Since these are natural products, there is little risk of side effects. These remedies, by restoring the urine pH balance, create an unlivable environment for bacteria. As a result, the harmful bacteria present in the urinary tract and bladder are eliminated and the infection is cured completely. Since the main cause of the problem is corrected, the risk of recurrent infections is reduced greatly. This is the most important reason why a lot of people choose home treatment for urinary issues in cat over conventional treatment.

It is suggested that you can give your cat a high quality supplement that contains homeopathic remedies like Berberis Vulg, Staphysagris, and Cantharis.

An important thing you need to remember is that a healthy diet can greatly supplement the effects of these natural remedies and help your cat heal quickly. So, you should be careful about the food you feed your cat. Make sure that you feed your cat an AAFCO certified cat food. This will ensure that it will have the correct balance of other 40 nutrients required for cat health. For example, AAFCO foods have reduced levels of magnesium and promote the acidity of the urine, both factors required for urinary issues in cat.

Last but not least, make sure your cat drinks plenty of water. If you want to treat urinary problems quickly, you must make sure your cat drinks lots of water and urinates frequently. So, keep a big bowl of filtered or high quality tap water right next to your cat so that it can drink some water whenever needed.

There you have it folks - a simple, easy-to-follow home treatment for urinary issues in cat. It is safe, affordable, and, most importantly, very effective.

Important Signs and Symptoms of Feline Urinary Tract Infection

Feline urinary tract symptoms of disorders or problems are harder to spot compared to dogs. Apparently, cats are more capable of tolerating pain compared to dogs. Mot of the time, our pet cats will continuously purr and eat even when they're suffering from urinary-tract disorder. Nonetheless, there are a number of feline urinary-tract symptoms of disorders that are easily observable in cats suffering from urinary tract problems. What owners must remember is that some simple changes in their cats' attitude and behavior are possible signs of urinary tract disorders.

So what exactly are these feline urinary-tract symptoms of disorders or medical problems?

One of the most common symptoms of feline urinary tract disorders is the sudden change in your cat's urinating pattern. A cat suffering from urinary-tract disorder urinates frequently, most of the time with little or no urine at all.

This initial symptom means that there are problems concerning your cat's excretory system. Other feline urinary tract symptoms of possible urinary tract problems include the presence of blood in the urine, and sometimes the sudden loss of bladder control. Some pet owners start noticing that there is a problem with their pets when the cats start urinating on different places, and stop using their litter boxes. There is also a probability of urinary tract problem if the cat continuously grooms its genitals.

Urinary tract disorders normally affects male cats, however, female cats are not exempted from having these medical problems. Once you notice the presence of these symptoms, you must consult a veterinarian on what you should do. At the clinic, the veterinarian will most probably suggest a urine analysis to know the problem.

Since most of the cats' urinary-tract disorders show same signs and symptoms, urinalysis is the best way to definitively know what the exact problem is. Most of the time, simple infections are the causes of the symptoms. However, in cases, a more serious underlying disease may be the cause of the symptoms, diseases that would need immediate medical attention.

In most urinary-tract problems of cats, the usual suspects are infections caused by bacteria. These bacteria (usually Escherichia coli) develop in the bladder after it was filtered by the kidney from the blood. Yes, the bacteria that cause urinary-tract infection come from the blood. These bacteria, actually, is ingested by the animal, and then absorbed by the intestines, get into the bloodstream, and then filtered by the kidneys. Instead of being excreted, these bacteria develop and grow in the kidneys and cause urinary-tract infection.

Urinary tract infection caused by bacteria is also one of the initial signs that the animal's immune system is weakening. Veterinarians usually prescribe antibiotics to solve urinary-tract infections caused by bacteria.

Other more serious cases of urinary-tract disorders may include the presence of tumor or a blockage in the urethra. These problems are most of the time fatal if medical attention is not given immediately. Several solutions, surgery being one of them, can cure these disorders.

Apparently, all types of feline urinary-tract symptoms of disorders are caused by improper diet and unhealthy lifestyle. To prevent your cat from acquiring it, you must always give them what is good for them. Not only will you prevent them from having urinary-tract disorders but also other illnesses like some forms of bowel problems.

Male Urinary Problems - Why Your Prostate May Be The Problem

There are many causes of male urinary problems -- one of which can be your prostate. Here are some ways to tell. And, if it is your prostate, what to do about it.

Check this out:

First off, realize that if you have any problems urinating, you should get checked out by a doctor and avoid the usual self diagnosis most of us guys do. And if it is your prostate, then some of the symptoms you might experience include having trouble getting your stream started, a burning feeling when you pee, a frequent urge to urinate, excessive "dribbling" afterwards and maybe even painful urination.

Plus, you may have sexual problems, too, if it's your prostate.

Like, for example, soft erections.

Low sex drive.

And maybe even painful ejaculation.

All of these could mean your male urinary problems are caused by either an enlarged prostate, prostatitis (i.e. a prostate infection) or maybe even prostate cancer.

So this is why you don't want to mess around, and get checked out.

If it is a prostate problem that is not cancer, there are some things you can do.

Probably the most important of which is start drinking more water.

A good goal is half your body weight in ounces of water each day (so if you weigh 200 pounds, you'd drink 100 ounces of water).

This alone can clear a lot of urinary problems up.

Especially since it cleans out your urinary tract, bladder and other body parts of infections, debris and other "invaders."

Plus, your body needs water to function properly.

Anyway, the bottom line is, if you are suffering from male urinary problems, it may be your prostate.

Natural Choices For Pet Urinary Problems

Pet urinary problems for dogs can involve the use of drugs such as Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) or (Proin) which are used for urinary pet problems like incontinence. This drug has numerous side effects including increased heart rate, seizures, or difficulty urinating.

DES (diethylstilbestrol) is a synthetic form of estrogen used for spayed females with pet urinary problems. This drug can affect the bone marrow which can cause anemia that does not go away when the drug is no longer given.

Sometimes PPA together with DES is used to control difficult cases of urinary pet problems. Imipramine or Tofranil is an antidepressant used in dogs where no other treatments work. This drug causes urine retention and is combined with PPA.

Pet urinary problems in cats could be the result of a urinary tract infection (UTI). Symptoms include fever, pain, little or no urine. Bacteria is usually the problem, especially if your pet roams outside where they can eat from garbage cans, eat wild mice or even a dirty litter box can cause fecal matter to get into the urethra. The urinary problem could be from other conditions like bladder stones or cancer.

Pet urinary problems can be avoided a great deal of the time for both cats and dogs if you supply plenty of water and opportunities for them to void the bladder. Keeping cat litter boxes clean and picking up your dogs yard waste often.

Do not substitute any information for the knowledge and qualified judgment of your pet's veterinarian. Many vets are providing safe natural products to supplement your pet's diet so they can experience optimum health year after year. If your dog or cat develops pet urinary problems, consider taking the natural approach to treatment. Even humans using products made from herbs and other plant based ingredients have benefited from better health. Natural products can work to improve the symptoms of urinary pet problems without using chemicals that have so many side effects. These products can provide a safe, gentle answer for healing your pet.

Natural Cures For Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), Causes and Symptoms

For removal of the liquid waste, urinary tract is used. It is the filter system of the body for the removal of the urine. Usually due to shorter urinary tract especially the women are more susceptible to bacteria. These bacteria as soon as it enters the urinary tract multiply and results into an infection which is known as urinary tract infection or simply UTI.

Usually each and every woman gets affected by this infection in one or more time in their life. Some may get infected only once but some may get affected by this infection frequently during their lifetime. Mostly UTIs are not at all serious but they may be painful. For some women UTI is very frustrating as many women are very prone to UTI and it occurs frequently.

Most common cause of the UTI is sexual intercourse. Especially women suffer from frequent UTI if they have sex with more than one. The other cause of the UTI is to wait for too long to urinate. The other causes of the UTI are menopause, diabetes or pregnancy.

The main symptoms of the UTI are the strong urge to urinate and which should not be delayed. It is also followed by a sharp pain and burning sensation in the urethra when the urine is released. As a result very little urine is released and it may be tinged with blood.

Though UTI is not a serious problem and it may be cured by taking antibiotics but few natural remedies are also there which are very effective.

1. For more than a century cranberry juice has been used as a home remedy to treat urinary tract infection. Both juice and tablets of the cranberry are fruitful in treating the urinary tract infection. Usually bacteria adhere to the walls of the urinary tract and cranberry prevents the bacteria from adhering. But it should be remembered that you must take the unsweetened cranberry juice. Often unsweetened juice is found in health food stores.

2. Uva Ursi is a herb which is very popular and it is used by majority of people. It is a folk remedy but it is not applicable to all the UTI. For certain types of UTI this remedy is very effective. But people having kidney problem, during pregnancy, children, liver disease and nursing women should not go for this remedy.

3. Other natural remedies are herbs like corn silk, golden seal, buchu, horsetail etc. And the homeopathic remedy is cantharis and staphysagria.

Like people, cats can have urinary problems. The most common urinary problems that can beset them include bladder infection and urinary tract infections. Cat bladder infection can occur in cats at any age.

When cats are diagnosed to have bladder infections, the vet would usually prescribe antibiotics. Antibiotics are effective in treating the disease but aside from killing the harmful bacteria, they can also eliminate the beneficial ones. Furthermore, antibiotics only treat the symptoms of feline bladder infection; they do not address the root causes of the problem. Consequently, the cat may experience a recurrence of the infection after treatment.

Another downside to the use of antibiotics is that these medications can predispose the cat to bladder infections. For this reason, many cat owners have resorted to using alternative treatment in treating urinary problems in their cats.

There are certain alternative treatments for feline urinary problems such as bladder infections. These alternative treatments use the holistic approach of treating the problems in pets. One natural treatment for cat bladder infection that is rapidly rising in popularity nowadays is the homeopathic remedies. Homeopathic remedies have shown great improvements in pets suffering from urinary tract problems. These natural treatments do not only treat the symptoms of the problem but eliminate the root causes as well. These natural remedies are also 100% safe and highly affordable. Moreover, these treatments do not contain properties that may bring about the occurrence of unpleasant and unwanted side effects and health complications as compared to medications.

To date, there are a variety of homeopathic remedies available in the market. The most commonly used homeopathic remedies are those that contain ingredients such as cantharis, uva ursi, berberis vulgaris, and staphysagris. Cantharis has properties that can help soothe the bladder. It helps maintain the healthy flow of urine. Uva ursi helps maintain the cat's normal pH level. Berberis vulgaris, on the other hand, can have a restorative effect on the cat's urinary tract and bladder. Meanwhile, staphysagris can provide symptomatic relief for a variety of feline urinary problems. When combined together in one formula, these homeopathic ingredients can help keep the cat's overall health in top condition.

Another natural treatment that is effective in treating feline bladder infection is the use of herbal remedies. Like the homeopathic remedies, herbal remedies are safe and affordable. They can also eliminate the root cause of the urinary problems instead of just treating the symptoms.

Two of the most commonly used herbs in the treatment of urinary problems in cats are the barberry and the bearberry. These herbal remedies contain antiseptic and antibacterial properties that are very effective in treating feline urinary tract infections. They also have properties that can help reduce inflammation. Prolonged use of these herbal remedies can help strengthen the cat's immune system.

If you are wary of giving your pet medications because of their side effects, you can choose to administer herbal remedies or homeopathic remedies to your cat for treating cat bladder infection. However, you may also want to consult the vet first before you give your cat any treatment. The vet's advice is very important.

The Best Ways to Prevent the Recurrence of Canine Urinary Tract Infection

Treating dog with recurring UTI or urinary tract infection is very simple. The problem, apparently, is not the illness itself, but the possibility for owners not to notice the presence of this disease on their beloved dogs. Also, majority of the owners are not knowledgeable enough on how to handle this problem.

So what exactly is urinary tract infection?

Urinary tract infection, also known as cystitis, is a bladder infection caused by certain types of bacteria. This disease, though commonly affects human beings, can also be a medical problem on some animals like dogs and cats. In fact, 14 percent of dogs worldwide are inflicted with urinary tract infection. Most of these are single occurrences of the illness, while some more serious cases deal with recurring urinary tract infection.

Bacteria that cause urinary tract infection on dogs and cats are usually ingested by the animal. Since it is ingested, most probably because of unclean food or water supply, the bacteria can easily be transmitted to the blood and then filtered by the kidneys. When the bacteria reach the bladder, it usually stays there and multiplies. This development of bacteria in the bladder causes urinary tract infection.

UTI is one of the initial signs of the weakening of your pet's immune system. Most of its symptoms are very noticeable. One example is the need of the animal to urinate frequently. Sometimes, they may also lose control of their bladder, and urinate uncontrollably. The changes of the odor of the urine, as well as the frequent consumption or ingestion of water, are also some of the symptoms of urinary tract infection.

The above symptoms are the usual signs of urinary tract infection on dogs. Sometimes, the presence of blood in the urine may also be evident. This presence of blood usually alerts the pet owners and the veterinarians because UTI complication may already be occurring.

To detect the infection, dogs usually undergo urinalysis. The analysis of the urine should be performed by a registered veterinarian. Once the illness is confirmed, dog UTI medication or treatment immediately starts.

The veterinarian usually prescribes antibiotics to cure the infection. This is the most common dog UTI medication since antibiotics effectively eliminates the bacteria that causes the illness. After about 14 days of continuous antibiotic treatment, you may notice the remarkable change on your dog's behavior. The symptoms usually disappear at this point.

Sometimes, however, urinary tract infection may recur. Veterinarians are not very certain on the reasons for the recurrence of UTI on dogs, but most of them suspect that it is because of the unclean water or food supply. Also, you need to remember that once the infection recurs, the original prescribed antibiotic will not be effective. Bacteria are capable of developing immunity, so you must again consult your vet for a new antibiotic prescription.

Treating dog with recurring UTI is very tricky, but as previously mentioned, is also simple.

Dog owners must understand that their lifestyle, including their environment and food, is a major factor in the recurrence of UTI in their pets. What they need to do is to learn how to maintain a clean environment and to provide proper nutrition, not only to themselves but also to their pets, especially because most of us consider them as part of the family.

In addition, improper nutrition does not only cause animal urinary tract infection. Most of the time, it can also be a risk factor for other illnesses like constipation and other bowel problems

The Truth About Conventional Treatments For Pet Urinary Problems

Pet urinary problems can be treated with conventional treatments fairly easily but there is a lot that veterinarians fail to tell you. The typical treatment for urinary problems in pets is antibiotics. While antibiotics will suppress symptoms temporarily, they are by no means a long-term solution.

Urinary pet problems are notorious for recurring. If you don't want your pet to suffer from the same problem time and time again, you have to do a lot more than just rush to the vet when there is a problem, seek treatment, and then subsequently forget that anything ever happened.

Pet urinary problems require lifestyle change. Antibiotics may bring temporary relief but in many cases, they make the problem worse. Pets require high doses of drugs since they mostly get metabolized and eliminated. These high doses can aggravate urinary problems in the long run.

Not to mention the overuse of antibiotics is what has gotten us into the bind we are in. The overuse of antibiotics has led to the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains. That means that bacteria is becoming more resistant and conditions in both humans and pets are becoming harder to treat as a result!

Urinary pet problems should be dealt with using natural treatments if possible. In the case of urinary blockages, you have to take your pet to the vet to get the blockage removed unless you are a surgeon yourself. Getting the blockage removed at the vet is a priority.

After removal of the blockage however, home treatment is essential. In the case of pet urinary problems, preventive treatment is important because of the recurrent nature of the disease.

Three important aspects of preventive treatment of urinary pet problems are sufficient water intake, a natural diet, and homeopathy. Sufficient intake of clean, filtered water ensures that your pet's urine doesn't thicken, which makes it easier for stones and crystals to form. Furthermore, water helps to flush out harmful toxins that accumulate and lead to infection.

A natural diet is important because it keeps the pH level of your pet's urine balanced. So many pet owners are feeding their pets unhealthy commercial pet food, which can throw off the pH level of their urine and make it easier for bacteria to flourish. Avoid commercial food and instead give your pet natural, raw food whenever possible.

If you can't afford to give your pet raw foods, consider going to a natural foods store and finding commercial dog food that is all natural with no preservatives added. Anything is better than mainstream dog food.

Last but not least, to prevent and treat pet urinary problems, give your pet a homeopathic remedy twice a day. Homeopathic remedies are very helpful in improving the flow of urine and promoting the optimal functioning of the urinary tract and bladder.

Look for a homeopathic remedy that contains cantharis and uva ursi. These are two natural ingredients well known for their effectiveness as urinary tonics. Homeopathy is totally safe so you can give it to your pet every single day without worry of side effects.

Don't give your pet medications unnecessarily. Instead, stick with natural treatments that can help to nurse your pet back to health. Permanent results are possible with homeopathy and other natural treatments, whereas conventional treatments only bring temporary relief.

Uncover the Problems With a Cat Urinary Tract Infection

Let me tell you a quick story about a cat urinary tract infection that did not necessarily have a happen ending, so you can avoid making the same mistakes.

A few years ago, a beautiful calico cat was given to my daughter. She was absolutely gorgeous, with a very gentle demeanor. Unfortunately, soon after coming to our house she chose to avoid the litter box on occasion. Instead of enjoying her companionship, money and time was spent trying to clean furniture, carpet, and more. I knew nothing about cat urinary tract infection.

Eighteen months later, I cannot take it anymore! I have already thrown away kids toys, stuffed animals, and more to try an eliminated the odor and discourage the problem from reoccurring.  Finally, I get the wise thought to take her to the veterinary before totally giving up. Someone tells me she may have a feline urinary tract infection.

With crystals in her urine, an antibiotic is prescribed. However, the damage is done. After the medication is long gone, the problem is obviously a behavioral issue. Well, I am not in the habit of making my children cry, but with no signs of a cat urinary tract infection, the health issues for my children come first.

With tears and trepidation, I call animal control to come take her and place her up for adoption. Unfortunately, I do not have the privilege of discovering where she is today. Hopefully, she has a family who love her dearly and the change in location has addressed the problem. But, I will never know.

So, can you relate to my problem? Do you have a cat worth loving and hating all at the same time? Are you busy doing all the tips and tricks to change an elimination challenge? Before giving up, check and make sure your furry friend does not have a cat urinary tract infection.

In addition, do not assume it is only a problem for female felines. In truth, veterinarians say males may be victims of this health issue more frequently. A smaller urethra lends to more bladder and elimination problems. In the meantime, if you suspect your kitty may have need for antibiotics, here are some of the symptoms you and your health care professional will evaluate to make a proper diagnosis:

1.    Bloody urine

2.    Straining as if to defecate

3.    Urinating in strange places

4.    Urinary blockage

5.    Licking

Although you may not be able to tell, a vet can detect bloody urine, and it needs fixed right away. If you think your pet has a cat urinary tract infection, watch and see how he or she goes potty. It should not be difficult. Any signs of struggle or taking much too long may constitute a problem, just as much as urinating in strange places. Seriously, some cats will prefer to go potty in the kitchen sink or some other slick surface. Why? Unfortunately, the poor kitty now associates the litter box with pain.

Alternatively, your kitty may be avoiding the litter box because he has urinary blockage. Going potty is never truly successful. He feels the need to go all day long, and he cannot live in the box. Obviously, a pet suffering from a feline urinary tract infection will lick a lot because it hurts, and that is the only means to make it feel better. Ouch!

Are you at risk of getting rid of a loved family pet? Is he or she literally ruining the home? Well, you know my story. I hope you do not make the same mistakes. Seek the advice of a veterinarian. If it is a cat urinary tract infection, there are medications available. If not, hopefully someone in the office will know about behavioral therapy. Good luck!
